Its teal season, where the heck are they

seen way more of these today than I saw Teal. Not a single bird in sight. But I was on the water where I long to be with the benelli ready to do work. I'll try the river tomorrow for wood ducks while they are in.

Our teal usually pass through in late September-late October. I would think later than that in Florida?

I'm in extreme southern GA and we have 10-20 hanging out in a cow pasture most afternoons the last two weeks. So maybe they're headed your way yet

They were moving through central MN the weekend before Labor Day. They ought to be there by now, we certainly didn't get em all!

Expecting a small dip in temperature this weekend. It's possible a few teal will be om the edge of that. Last few years they haven't shown up til the last 2 days of the season.
