Beneath these Western Skies . . .
Generally speaking, I'm a pretty mild mannered guy and don't throw much shade. This guy's YT channel has some pretty great waterfowl hunting action, but I've noticed he is incredibly unsafe and I thought I'd drop a little comment about it. His response is pure gold (highlighted portion for emphasis).

I don't think there's a cure for the type of sickness this guy has . . .

If he's shooting more than his daily individual limit while hunting with friends, it's illegal. If the blind could legally posses 20 geese (4 hunters, 5 birds each) and he shoots six of them, he's gone over his individual daily bag limit. Hard to prove sure, but not if he admits it in a YouTube comment that his buddies can't shoot and there's video footage of him shooting. I understand how people skirt the regulation, but none of them are going around admitting it publicly. Good grief.

He isn't any different than most posting hunting videos. So what's the fine for over the limit on waterfowl? And is that fine high enough to discourage this behavior? We all know the answer.

There’s a guy from your neck of the woods who can tell you. He did 3? Years in the federal pen. Had a dvd series called “1 over the limit”.

What are the odds on this guy being cited for being over the limit before the channel is gone?

Seems common in celeb waterfowl hunting. You can’t make it rain if the birds aren’t there. And when they are, you make it rain a little too much, on purpose.

Gotta get likes and views to pay the bills, bro!

Yeah, I see him around. D-bag for sure.

He feeds his dogs steel shot.

My son has a duck hunting addiction. He shoots a lot of ducks. We’re continually having the possession limit discussions. I have a hard rule he stays in compliance if he’s living at my house. I really don’t want IDFG tearing apart my freezers with me explaining each animal and birds in my freezer. I can do it but I’ll spend hours of my time.

To my son’s credit, I think he eats ducks close to three meals a day during the season. I’m burned out on duck for my lifetime.

He says most of his waterfowl addicted buddies are way out of possession limit compliance. IDFG watches IG and has made a few freezer inspections on the top posters. I told my son to stop posting all of his limits.

Something thats never been super clear to me, what if you processed those possession limit birds into something like say sticks or pastrami, whatever. But are still in your freezer.
