It’s not radioactive. All in all, very benign. Better to have it dispersed and “contaminated” with stuff like iron, salts, etc. Last thing you want is to have it concentrated in terms of volume.

Anything with an atomic number above lead (82) is radioactive, including all isotopes of Uranium. That said, Uranium is much less radioactive than plutonium and generally not an external hazard.

Older HTers - how long have you heard Iran is on the cusp of nukes?

Not to say that i think its impossible - but it seems like they have been "very close" as long as ive followed it (last 5 or so years).

Im a natural skeptic, but thats been only enhanced by the fact that the last middle eastern country with "weapons of mass destruction" .... didnt seem to have them.

All that i hope is that this doesnt involve the USA and our troops.
