I quit using running boards years ago after I bashed one hard enough I had to cut it off to get a rear door open. Fortunately it didn’t damage anything but the running board. A little harder hit and it would crushed it into the cab.Last weekend scouting bent the hell outta the running board brackets on each side.
Ever think about what you would have hit if the bar wasn't there? That hard of a hit surely would have messed up your truck otherwise.I quit using running boards years ago after I bashed one hard enough I had to cut it off to get a rear door open. Pretty sure I would have cleared the wash without a running board. I have seriously considered rock sliders.Ever think about what you would have hit if the bar wasn't there? That hard of a hit surely would have messed up your truck otherwise.
I built sliders for a Ram 2500 I had. I built them too beefy, lots of lessons learned, but would totally do it again.Pretty sure I would have cleared the wash without a running board. I have seriously considered rock sliders.
Need a friend to test a prototype? Asking for a friend.Once we get the wife a new car and my truck becomes a project, it will be one of my first to-do items.
There might be a swap in project platforms for me, but if you can run a tape measure I can probably make something work.Need a friend to test a prototype? Asking for a friend.
