Interesting NC Deer Hunt

Luckily, I have been getting out on public this year, and did this afternoon. Was happy with my set up, first time in this area hunting. I set up about 50 yards off a small lake cove, with good visibility along an oak and beech ridge. Right about 4:00, just as I was hoping deer would move, a bass boat came flying up in the cove. I found this a little curious, since the lake was way down, the cove was shallow and I didn't figure any fish would be found. Well, the guy layed down in the bottom of the boat before it stopped, with his lady friend not far behind him. After about 45 giggly, not so quiet minutes from the lake, I figured it was time to go. The joys of public land, and a funny story I hope y'all will enjoy. Hate I didn't get a picture of him running the trolling motor with just his skivvies on after they had drifted out a bit...

Na at falls. It was getting a tad chilly, and i sweated too much on the way in so i was feeling it a bit
