I get home from work and see a lot of interesting stuff going on once again on this site. I probably shoulda put this as a post on one of the posts pertinent to this topic...oh well. MT legislature continues to stick it to sportsmen, as well as all kinds of other MT citizens.. Not just your average run of the mill crap, but sneaky underhanded (wait, that is run of the mill) crap, too. Lawnboy mentioned looking forward to joining local outdoorsmen group, look forward to seeing you at HSA in April?....any other Gallatin area guys plan on showing up at a Headwaters mtg for the first time? MT (and MT NR guys...for lack of a better term) guys on here all up in arms again. Good. Broken record time....I hope everyone stays pissed and more actively join the fight. Maybe someday a dog will piss in some other guy's (on this site) cereal in the morning and they'll decide to spend a fraction of the time joining the battle for MT sportsmens' (and their kids) future as they put into posting trophy pics:hump:. Hey SS, anybody express interest in your idea of a MT site, hotline, forum that can be utilized by/for us battlers (other than/in addition to, of course this site...which seems to serve damn well for that purpose).
By the way, sounds like snow geese #'s are way down at Freezeout. 25000, last I heard. Was planning to go Saturday...wait and see now....

Oh, yes, there's support. Like you said, hope we don't have to stay pissed to stay active. I'm thinking an Initiative to cap non resident tags to 17,000. At minimum that should come out of this legislature.

It was a black day for sportsman.

Black day, maybe/maybe not. The next couple days may be the crappiest yet...deadlines to really mess things up are looming - prepare to be calling the governor next. Just focus on how much worse the last couple of MONTHS could have been if not for all the crap we got squashed. Their lunacy + incompetence + our involvement = not near as bad as coulda' been.... Like already talked about, next time we push legislation down their throats....
