Haha.. I have seen deer eating from peoples' hands in Yosemite N.P.

I guess they used to do that here in Indiana, in some of the state parks, before they began reduction hunts in the parks.

The Summer before the 1st State Park Hunt in Brown Co, we took horses down to ride the park and the deer were everywhere (tiny) with a visible browse line throughout the park. . . eating out of my hand and the camp ground. . .it was a sad thing to see. That hunt was a slaughter for sure.

I can tell you once they are grilled medium rare sprinkled with Montreal Steak seasoning, you will forget about the apple muncher.
