My 7RM is like my mom's 86 Corolla LE. Over 16 years served as my mom's daily for a decade took the abuse of two teenage boys, and was then sold to our neighbors who's triplet daughters ran it into the ground north of a quarter million miles. Not flashy, just functional, and the rifle still stacks holes in targets through all my abuse of it.
