So let's assume you win an award at work and the boss will take you hunting anywhere you want to go with a $9K budget per guy:D . Budget is for the hunt fee only, airfaire, tips etc... are all taken care of.

Now assume that you already live in Montana and can hunt elk, deer, antelope etc..... anytime you want. You can also assume that you have already chalked up elk, deer, antelope, mountain goat, caribou, brown bear, wild hog and turkey to your list of critters on the wall. Oh, and this will be your first (and possibly only) chance at a fancy guided hunt.

So let's here it......... I am all ears. You information is most appreciated and as a reward, I promise to post a full report when I get back hump !!

Depends, do you want to go for sheep, African game, trophy deer or elk or what? I bet you'll get a ton of different answers based on individual preferences.

You'll probably have to decide what critter you want, then find the hunt to match the budget.

I bet Tom can get you one of those cows for that much. :D

Not sure if 9k would cover the guide's fee for Alaskan moose or not. If it did that's where I'd spend the money. Other wise I'd be a Mule deer hunt in old Mexico..........

For $9,000 I will get you an archery deer tag in AZ and as soon as you fill your tag we will hit every topless bar from Tuscon to Phoenix! You may have to hit the ATM a couple more times though!hump

It would be cool to use the boned us (bonus) money from your boss to try Africa. I look at it this way, with the animals you already have you know what to expect from hunting them. I would use the money from your employment to try africa, If it doesnt live up to your expectations, (fat chance it wont) it really wasnt your money anyway. By the way, I really feel so sorry for you.

I would start my way to a sheep slam. Not sure which one I'd start with but one of them either way.
