This years idaho unit 1 whitetail. Killed on a rainy day in late November. It was a lonely day on the mountain and due to the rain I still hunted to within 20 yards of him.DSCN0241_opt.jpg
 
THAT'S what I'm talking about... the older I get the more I like those big, north woods bucks taken afoot. Congratulations.
 
Nice work! That's an awesome deer. I really want to hunt ID unit 1 for whitetails one of these days. Thanks for whetting the appetite even more. :)
 
Dang that is awesome. Rainy days in thick timber give me that special kind of feeling. What a beast. Congratulations.

I was thinking of the good looking guy that slept in that camper. Different state, but he does know a few places in ID that would be worth checking out...

We'll have to figure something out. Idaho is on my list of places to hunt as well, kill 2 birds with one stone.
