Idaho unit 11

Hey guys, i drew an elk tag in unit 11 nov 1-24. Anyone on here had this tag before? Is therethe gonna be snow? What caliber of bullthe should i be looking for? Thanks for any help!

I had the same tag last year and saw a ton of branched bulls. Only a few over 300 class. My 13 year old son drew this year so it should be fun. His goal is a 6 point and that should be easy enough if he can make the shot. Last year I took a 310 inch bull on the last day .

I also drew a late nov. 1-24 bull tag this year. I just got back from scouting and saw some good country and plenty of bulls. Has anyone else been scouting this country for the early or late bull tag?

all i can say is get to the breaks the elk get pushed down there from all the pressure on top. yeah plan on snow and a good chance for some long shots, big country. yeah scouting now you can see a lot and some big heards but after the first month they get push around pretty good and head for the snake river.
