Idaho Super Hunt Combo 2023

Saw some really big bull moose in 66A last October. Talked to guys that saw 15 moose one day a little further in. I’d do elk September for the rut - moose in October - muley in November/ December and fill in pronghorn in between if I had that combo! Congrats on the draw, hope it’ll be epic!

@TW33 you been out scouting yet? Come on man, update! Curious what you are finding and how you're planning the hunts.
Ya I’ve been scouting quite a bit, been seeing a lot of elk and moose. I’m planning on hunting elk all the way through September, moose in late September into October and of course earlier if I see a dandy moose. Antelope in October once I have an elk and moose down and then focus on deer late October throughout November.

I’ve passed up multiple big bull elk and moose and finally found the bull elk I wanted 2 evenings ago. 80 yards with a muzzleloader. Now on to antelope and moose. Then focus solely on deer. Been an experience that only I had ever dreamed about thus far and it’s just getting going!

Phenomenal elk!

Now, go get your moose!!!

You’ve got a month before deer gets serious.

That’s such a stud. When you’re done with the long, dream fall please give us a story on this big guy!
I'm sure write ups are soon to come But as most of us would expect he's working his ass off on these tags. If he's not at work he's hiking, hunting, scouting, researching, calling hints, searching out hot spots, etc. All you guy's that have given him input is greatly appreciated. He might not get right back but it's because he's tearing boots up following leads.

Absolute brute! Awesome, can’t wait to see your other animals.

Love the mass on that one! Good luck.

That's a good start! Keep us in the loop on the next ones.... Moose should be getting lovestruck here pretty soon.

I'm mostly interested in your Time Management to get this all done. How are you balancing all the hunting and work and family?....
