Idaho Muley

[Ultrahunter]

This will be short and sweet, I saw Oak do this once and though it was great.

I saw this buck during deer season so I shot him.

Nice Buck and a beautiful cape on him if you wanted a shoulder mount. Congratulations!

[dihardhunter]

If I saw that buck, I would have shot him too! Congrats. Looks like a DEEP fork on that right side.

[Gerald Martin]

Nice buck! Oak used two less words in his story.

Another good ID muley, well done. It does look like a smooth early season cape.

Nice job! Interesting buck with the left side/ right side difference. Are those onions on the ground around it?

My guess would be arrowleaf balsalmroot...and grass.

[Buck Fever]

Great buck, I will never forget the hike!!

Yep I'd agree, or could possibly be mule's ear (Wyethia).

Possible, but I've never seen big bunches of that (kinda like you can see in the pic), just scattered individuals.

I so miss working in that kind of country...

kudos to Ultrahunter for being able to stalk up on a deer in that noisy s***!
