Idaho buck

Here is a buck that my niece shot on public lands near Salmon ID. Its a 2 x 3 and thats about all we know.

They sent a DNA sample to the fish & game for testing. Haven't heard what they found.

My niece wants to have a shoulder mount and it was caped for one. She is 15 so funds are an issue. I think they should have caped it for life size. I bet a taxidermist would give them a deal if it could be used in a show or something.

No doubt it is some type of cross bred deer. Glad she took it out of the gene pool. You think a few red deer genes in the elk might be a problem.......

I don't think it's cool at all, this is another reason game farms should be outlawed in Idaho. I hope that this is isolated.

The theory about this deer involves someones "pet" rumoured to have escaped their yard some years ago. I don't think outlawing game farms would have made any difference.

Last time I checked, a City Park is in fact, public.

The grass in the picture strongly resembles my brother in laws yard.
