Cant wait to get on the ice for some perch and walleye. One problem....... no ice! At least here in SE Michigan. Got a ways to go but hopefully weather takes a turn it gets REALLY cold. Reports say u gotta head north (northern half of lower peninsula). Until then, have fun everyone and be safe!!!

We been fishing on 5" south of Battle Creek the past week or so. We do need some more ice though as my two favorite pike lakes look pretty sketch still.

Got my son reading a Vex. He's getting it figured out. Hitting limits just about every day well before noon.

Been getting out a bit the last week or so...doing alright. Not big numbers, but the ones I've caught have been worth it. Just cant get on any big schools of perch, about 6-10 a day is all I can find.

Hard to beat gold through the ice. Buzz, some of those are footballs, Nicely done!

No ice fishing for me today but I helped with a kids ice fishing clinic. We had a good turnout with a lot of first time ice fishers. All kids went home with a prize, and many kids went home with a new fishing pole. Everything was free for the kids including bait, equipment and lunch.
