I want to purchase my first suppresor, no idea where to start

I want an airlock industries 6.5 can, they dont have dealers in west montana yet

first step set up a gun trust i assume so family members can use it and the rifle
?

is that a lawyer thing? if so who?

I am in the same boat. I have a threaded 6.5 cm. I know nothing about suppressor. There is several local shops that sell them but each only sells certain manufacturers which they coincidentally recommend as the best. I just need it light weight. That's my only criteria.

You don't *have* to set up a trust but it is highly advisable if you're going to end up buying multiple suppressors. I used Matthew Bergstrom (https://www.arsenalattorneys.com/matthew-bergstrom) to create mine. Painless process, reasonable cost and peace of mind spending money on professional guidance to keep me out of the Federal penitentiary.

Silencer Shop has kiosks, you can do everything online and at the kiosk in about a half hour. Stupid easy no lawyer involved for a trust or individual. Really stupid easy

They sell pretty much everything that’s not proprietary to silencer central. So No Banish but pretty much everything else.

I bought mine from a dealer in person and just did the paperwork at the kiosk.

Edit: Serious question, how is that process for you? When I was in SA this year it was easy to buy a suppressor but over a year to buy a gun!

Our son set up, or is in the process of adding us to a trust.
Bought us a Dead Air Mask for Christmas.
Waiting for Silencer Shop to send the forms to add us , they aren't in any hurry it seems to forward them.

The can is awesome !! Think move sounding suppressor- no sound at all.
Took a few shots to work in but it is quite impressive as far as sound deadening.
A 30 cal. can is next.
