I need help identifying this bush

These bushes are up in the mountains on open hillsides and seem to grow 3’-6’ tall.

I thought they might be but trying to match pictures online was giving me trouble, I love the plant and want to put some at my home but google was just kicking me in the bum with this one.

I've been playing around with a phone app called "Snapchat". Take a picture and post it and in a few moments, you get an ID. Usually it is pretty good.

Ouch! MY MISTAKE. It's not SNAP CHAT. It was PLANTSNAP that I meant to type. Snap Chat, I do not use, but I do know what it is. Makes sense. I can't type anything anymore.
