Wife and I saw this last night. Decent flick, but I couldn't stop laughing at Will Smith's deer hunting techniques. :D No wonder he never got a deer. Other than that, it was pretty good entertainment.

Haven't seen it but it's on my list. I'm waiting for Schmalt's and Steiny's review first. If they say it Sucks, I'll go see it because It probably is a Zgreat flick ;)

Does this movie look like a re-make of "Omega Man" from the 70s ? It sure sounds like it. Eather way, i'll see it sooner or later.
(I'm just waiting for Moosies review)

Yes it is A-con...actually the third remake...'Omega Man' being the second & The 'Last Man On Earth' being the first....based on Richard Matheson's 1954 book 'I Am Legend'.

Wife and I just watched it. She seen more of my armpit than the big screen. I was left needing some Valium. Pretty good "scary" flick.

It was a decent flick, not as good as I was expecting. Almost a "wait for video" but the big screen does add something to it.

It reminded me of "I Robot" at times.

Yes, if Will Smith had to live off deer meat he would have starved....never seen whitetails run into tunnels to hide.

I liked it. I went with some friends and the wife last night on Date night. She hugged my arm and watched alot of the movie through the fingers as well.

Will Smith is Definately in Shape... WOW !!

I also couldn't imagine nobody around for over 1000 days. I would have cracked in week 2.

I liked it : I give it 4 out of 5 Moose points.

I liked it. I found it much more disturbing than I'd of guessed. Slept in the bathtub with my dogs the first night.

I didn't like it that much. I hated the ending. Will Smith has nothing on Greeny and Greeny would of been eating fresh meat every day if he wanted it.

Rented it last night, I wasn't impressed.
Omega man was better.
The zombies were hokie and fake, the ending left a lot of questions.

I'm wondering how they got that blood sample clear to the new place with out it going bad in the transport...

There were a lot of things that could have made this movie far better thats for sure...

I was also wondering how that elaborate trap was set by a zombie if they had lost most all of their cognitive skills...

A cable snare would have been extremely hard to hide in such a small puddle of water on a sunny day with an alert individual...

Did anybody read the original short story of the same name? Very, very different. Not necesarily better, but a different premise.

That just comes from being by himself for a biiiiiiit to long... ...

That whole scene leaves a little to be desired as there really didn't seem to be a point to it... :)

The point was that Neville was psychologically breaking..while the mutants were evolving mentally. They mimic'd the physics of Neville's own catch technique and took advantage of his momentary self defense disconnect.

(Moosie's quote)"Uhhhhhh.. he was talking to a mannequin" ...is exactly correct.
