I have my Master Journeyman HVAC and Master Journeyman Refigeration license. Ive considered moving back to Montana. Do you know what their pay scale is?

Lots of work but you really need to look into the insane cost of living near Bozeman before jumping in. Many craft are commuting in a good distance to be able to afford to live. Being a tech on the HVAC distribution service side is a solid move for job security if it works for you financially. Stuff keeps breaking regardless of the bid market!
