I'm looking to purchase a new set of ski pants and thinking I can maybe kill two birds with one stone I'd like to get a pair of hunting pants that are of similar construction and material to ski pants for late season hunts in the snow. Anyone have any recommendations?

IMHO, any ski pant I've found is way way to loud to cross over and be a hunting pant.

Agreed, unless you can find really quiet softshell pant. Swishy is not good in the woods.

Yeah, and I ain't rich, but none of my hunting gear doubles for play gear like that.

I had a pair of ski pants from Moonstone that I used for hunting a lot. They were a softshell material. I can't but think that something like the Sitka Timberline couldn't be used for skiing and do welll enough.

I have an old set of Outdoor Research softshell ski pants that I also hunted the late season in. They look roughly like the Cirque pants they sell now. For $150 they might be worth checking out.
