There was another show that did something similar to this year's ago. I remember watching it one day and a guy was out with his young son hunting for points to win a competition. I thought to myself...that guy is probably an alright dude in life, but thank God he wasn't my dad. Can't remember the show name now.

I always thought hunting derbies were dumb and horrible optics.

This is even worse, lets turn hunting into even more of a competition where dudes will be encouraged do dumb things to shoot an animal at all cost!
