And, as a good West (by God) Virginian you probably already know that the 25 Creedmoor began its life as a wildcat called the 2-Fitty Hillbilly. Feels like it should be a great eastern whitetail round with the right projectiles. What are you planning on shooting out of it?

Doing around 2900fps, I'd imagine they'd be hellfire on deer. I'd just stay off the shoulder if the deer is right on top of you.

Plus with barrel life being lil better then the 6.5 i plink with it will be fun to take out on weekend plinking

Not quite sure how the 25 caliber is going to be easier on barrels than a 6.5?

Right now I have 7 different 25 caliber cartridges.

Let us know your opinion on the Howa 1500 action and stock trigger.
I've been seeing some fairly inexpensive that I have been thinking of doing a couple of builds on.
Normally I get Savage actions.
But for the right price, I'm open to other options.

the action is smooth and after some adjustment to the trigger its usable, ill probably after market it with a trigger tech soon
