The 300 H&H is a pretty good round. Reloading can get you good results. I have had one for 50+ years. It has done well for me.

I think my #1 in 300 H&H is my favorite to hunt with. Not terribly hard to load for but she can be a little finicky. I've gotten 3100and change with 180 over RL26.
Never tried 150 gr might have to try it soon!

I built a 300 H&H a few years ago and after a bit I realized that it was the classic rifles chambered for it that I was in love with and not really the cartridge.
