pay the special prices for tags in Wyoming? Just wondering?

Good question, I've wondered the same. I have not paid more yet, maybe this year. How 'bout you?
I don't like the system of special versus regular. Seems stupid. Nothing special about the tag you get, compared to the regular tag, and nothing special about the guys who draw the tags. But if that is what Wyoming is going to do, I am going to do what I can to give me the best odds possible.
So, for me, it is special for all three species.

If this is the same as the past. I have never paid the extra for those tags. NOTE: I deer hunt in the northeast where there are always plenty of tags and the extra money doesn't help (seems everybody gets a tag). Otherwise for antelope I just apply for a pref. point.

Haven't done special yet.I may next year for an elk tag with no points.I believe I can draw a gen. elk tag 2nd choice with the special license, and still bank points.Don't like the price, but I guess you have to pay if you want to play;every year

Myself and the wife have 2 points each for Lopes, I have been doing the regular tags.
