How do you locate aspens on google earth?

Just trying to figure out what to look for. Thanks!

Depends on how technical you want to get...

The is the Land Cover Dataset that utilizes satellite data to model vegetation. This is useful at a high level to figure out where to look if you are trying to locate deciduous trees across a state or county.

Aspens will be yellow (color 22) or dirty yellow color 38

If you want to locate specific stands in a given area use Google earth in conjunction with the time slider, set it for some time in the summer then in the fall and you will see a marked difference when the aspens lose their leaves.
