Hopefully they weren’t like the auto shop when you bring in a 2500 Diesel and they give you a ford fiesta for a loaner.Walked into a Jacksboro Hwy dive bar in Ft worth back in the day...sign said, "if you're not carrying we will loan you one."
We have no signage on our building forbidding weapons, nor any policy I can find in our handbook. Interesting thought. My question in relation to the OP. I assume that is your company’s policy. What about company’s/businesses/entities that allow the public to carry firearms on the property when doing business but not staff/employees?
I work for the county. Our county handbook says no weapons unless you are certified law enforcement. We manage 28 public areas. Some of them are open to public hunting, hence the users are able to carry a firearm but if I’m out doing trail maintenance or whatever during work I can’t carry. I’m sure there are other public agencies, city, state or federal that have similar policies. We have no signage on our building forbidding weapons, nor any policy I can find in our handbook.
