How do you interpret this?

My question in relation to the OP. I assume that is your company’s policy. What about company’s/businesses/entities that allow the public to carry firearms on the property when doing business but not staff/employees?
We have no signage on our building forbidding weapons, nor any policy I can find in our handbook. Interesting thought.

I work for the county. Our county handbook says no weapons unless you are certified law enforcement. We manage 28 public areas. Some of them are open to public hunting, hence the users are able to carry a firearm but if I’m out doing trail maintenance or whatever during work I can’t carry. I’m sure there are other public agencies, city, state or federal that have similar policies.
