Visiting family back east last summer, I was inspired while practicing at a home pistol range. "Bullet bunkers" catch the
the lead.


I dedicated some space in the shop, and constructed my own bullet traps.
Box is 26"w x 48"h x 12" deep. 1/4" plate
3/8" flange painted flo green
28" wide conveyor belt scrap, 1/2" thick for face
filled with rubber landscape mulch, ground tires from Home Depot
My cost is 80% less


More work to do on this room. Milling logs for wrap around backstop behind bunkers.
Tested .22, .25, 357, 9mm, 10mm, 45. Loving it!
I'm building two bullet bunkers. Range is indoor, 10 x 50'. 300cfm air flow toward target

We've (my youngest son (34) and me) have filled a 3/4 ton trailer to overflowing three times so far mucking out the back yard overgrowth, weeds, and volunteer plants. I let the Apple trees get away from me, enough trimming to do to fill up the trailer again quickly. I usually hold off planting much until May 1st, usually past the last frost.
My sons been off work (COVID) and has been tackling projects I've put off for years.

Fortunate to still be working full time and getting plenty of turkey hunting and fishing in this spring. Without weekend traveling, it's opened up a lot of time for projects. One goal my wife and I had was to do a better job with our garden. We finished up the rocks and edging around the planter boxes on Saturday. She's got lettuce, spinach, kale, onions, radishes already popping through. Tomatoes and peppers are coming next.

That’s awesome. A messy shop is a productive shop. That’s what I tell myself.

Wife and I are lucky enough to be able to work from home. Other than keeping up with the kids, I've been forging knives on the weekend, spending more time outdoors with the family, and we decided to add to the chaos by getting a new puppy.

Would like to work on some home improvement projects, but Home Depot seems to be the only place that is limiting customers per the Governor's order. Don't feel like standing in line for over an hour to get in, so those project can wait.

Watching the news and seeing the US turn into a totalitarian regime. Enough that you can't tell the difference from Venezuela, China, Saudi Arabia, Philippines etc.

Dethatching and then overseeding was the ticket

I hiked hundreds of miles and stacked up antlers,hides,skulls,and minerals. Explored some mines, and harvested both of my Idaho bears in the spring. We built a chicken coop and hope to be having eggs in a few months feeding the chickens dehydrated shelf stable game trimmings contaminated by dirt it hair and such.

We built a secret bat cave in our attic which added close to 1000 sq feet in the house that only we know about. There is a floating platform above our attic insulation. We store emergency supplies, a but load of antlers, and seasonal things up there. Ordered the attic stair kit off of amazon.

How's the puppy life treating you? By the looks of the pup, your in trouble. It will have you trained with that look!

I have also bought, tamed, and flipped several rifles during the pandemic. We are also hitting the open hot springs non stop. Fighting off depression is pretty tough not working for a bit.
