I made that comment but my buddy corrected me and said that is heritage season and not big game general. So it is over that’s all she wrote.

What about shoulder season?
I had a good whitetail buck show up the past two mornings around 8:15 AM in my back field. Glad he survived the season. He may have been there all season, but this was first time we haven’t left early to take the kids or go to work due to the holiday.
I’m really surprised the MT FWP didn’t extend the season for another few weeks due to mild weather and low harvest. I hope there is a good carryover next year.

I got one daughter left with a general deer, was thinking of going up along the Canada border for one of them border jumping mules but not much weather so might just try to rattle and grunt a wt in across the street.
2023 was a hell of a season for us. We should probably go to church.
