Those are some great sauger. I’ve fished some lakes that produce big walleye but only small sauger for whatever reason.

4” plastic jerk minnow, buck tail and big salted minnow or crawler, 3” twister grub, deep jerkbait, Ned rig, plain jig and crawler…

Stopped just shy of throwing the kitchen sink. No love on tubes, plain bucktails, or blade baits. Struggled until we got enough weight for the depth/current.
