HOLY CRAP That is a HUGE TROUT!!!

This doesn't happen everyday. I took this young lady and her friend fishing on a tiny creek, and she pulled this huge splake (brook trout/lake trout hybrid) out. None of us had ever heard of a splake that size being in this creek. It was truly a shocker! Give the video a little look, it really is an exceptional fish for the environment it came from.

My lifetime Splake tally (all from lakes with lots of forage available) is probably in the single digits, but that is definitely the largest one I've seen by an order of magnitude. Very cool in a stream that size.
