Hogs in Georgia

What can you guys and gals tell me about hog hunting in Georgia. A friend of mine in Maryland wants me to drive down to Georgia, just outside Atlanta, to hunt hogs with him. He says that they are 100 % wild. He said that there is no licience required because they are considered pests. Is he yanking my chain, or should I consider it? Cost is about $275.00 per hunter.

That is a good article. I still want to do some more research on hogs in Georgia, but I think this trip might be worth doing.

i cant tell you about atlanta but i know in southern ga and anywhere in florida hog hunting is premium.275 is a good price for hog hunt. if you get a chance to hunt with dogs jump on it its a blast. see my post on our family hunt
