Just curious how high gas would have to be before it affected your hunting and other outdoor activities? I think $6/gallon would make me think twice about some of my planned excursions.

I’ll cut back on bear hunting and goose hunting. Those two are the hardest on gas

Wonder if it will get road hunters out of their trucks…. 🤔
Zero chance. Zero chance it effects anything not sure where people are getting their money from but it won’t change a thing. Gas prices are already high enough to make me think twice. Like somebody else on here already said hunting isn’t for poor people. I disagreed but maybe he is right.

I drew a WYO. elk tag for unit 7 and would like a partner to help with gas.

Four of us are headed to Northern Quebec walleye fishing in two weeks. We normally take two boats. This year, due to fuel costs, we'll just be taking my 20' Lund Alaskan and four guys riding in my truck. I didn't have plans for elk this year. I actually won't be too disappointed if I don't draw a Whitetail tag in Kansas. I'm afraid Saskatchewan waterfowl in October will be cancelled too... that one is 4,000 round-trip.

Anecdotal here… but my FIL said there have been 0 shed hunters and/or turkey hunters behind his house this year.

Last 5 years it’s been a traffic jam so 🤷‍♂️.
