Hey Harley, where's the Fri music?

If you grew up in a little town, as I did, there was always that time, place, situation, or event that just seemed to call for a celebration. Someone sent me this video and for the life of me, I can't quite put my finger on why it so much reminds me of the fun days in Big Falls when the entire town would get together, have a street dance, locals would play music, and all burdens were rested for an evening.

No one could sing. The folks who could play an instrument had about three chords in their repertoire. Given enough booze, everyone thought they could dance. And there was always the token hippy-logger who just wanted to be the star of the show and howl at the moon while dancing in his logging boots and suspenders, sawdust falling from his rolled up pant cuffs as he showed the locals he could "shake a leg."

I am sure part of it is the characters they show. Big Falls had more characters than any town of 500 I've ever visited. For every different looking duck in this video, I could assign a Big Falls local to be their twin.

These guys are flat out having fun. Just like we did in Big Falls....... Yeah, This Train Is Bound For Glory.........

Well Bing Crosby it's not... but it's an improvement. Not that my disfunctional family is any peach. But it sure makes me wonder what
Christmas looks like at your respective houses  Guess I already know what an HT Christmas party would look like, whew
