My question is about the jetting! I am here in Nampa at about 2500ft A.S.L. and I will be taking it to New Mexico on my elk hunt. I will be hunting between 7000 and 9000 ft A.S.L. so will I have to change out the jetting so it will run right? I could use some advice on this one!

To be on the safe side, consult your Yamaha dealer but I've taken an unjetted Polaris from here in the flatlands to higher than 9000' in Colorado and removed the breather cover and did fine...but it was loud.

I've been running a TW200 at work this year from 3500-8500 feet and havent done anything to it other than fill it with fuel.

Today, I was over 7000 and it ran real good.

Been on some rough trails the last 2 days...I was hatin' it a couple times.

Yes, its the stock jetting. The guy I work with is real savy on bikes and he says you shouldnt have a problem with stock jetting up to about 10K. Elevation seems to be less of a problem with 4-stroke engines compared to 2-strokes.

I like the TW...
