Hey folks, hoping to get some help from the HT community on gun raffle ideas. We want to make sure our raffles are attractive, with that said what do you folks want to see from NAPF gun raffles?
Participate in the poll and/or leave some comments/suggestions.

the ability to choose a left handed one if you win.

honestly i'm way more interested in raffles for hunts, tags, and optics but i'll throw money at NAPF regardless

I think customized with the NAPF logo. Guided hunts are cliche. We’re supporting NAPF. If winning a raffle- the prize should indicate whom the support was given back from.

Might not have much for tags this year, maybe just one. We missed the deadlines for some of the applications as they were earlier than expected and we were focused on other things. But for 2027 we should have at least a couple.

Sorry Brock, yes what Forky said.

I think that as supporters of the organization, it would be most appropriate for the prize given by that organization to have something indicating what org gave back to their supporters…

Maybe some sort of gift card or redemption coupon from a given manufacturer so the winner can select their own rifle or have a certain amount of money towards the one of their choosing. I like Weatherby, but could be whatever one. Just a thought so it might be more enticing to somebody that has a particular caliber in mind (or lefty as mentioned).

Henry would also be a fun option.

If you go with a gun, something semi custom like a seekins, higher end tikka, etc. the majority of the time I buy raffle tickets for gun raffles, I only buy them to support the cause since it’s usually several very low end guns I’d never even shoot as opposed to one or two nice guns I’d like to have.
This.

Guided WY pronghorn hunt.
We will have a guided NE WY pronghorn hunt (easy to draw unit) and a Weatherby 307 Alpine ST in 22 creedmoor with our logo engraved on the floor plate as our raffle prize for Sheep show. $100 per ticket, 100 tickets available. Anyone interested come find us at sheep show!

Can we buy raffle tickets if we aren’t at sheep show?

Maybe I’m different, but that gun turns me off from buying it. I have absolutely no need for it.

Do you have to take it or is there a boobie prize / tax write off?
