First let me apologize for the pictures I'm having trouble with my trail cams this year. This little potbelly buck has been showing up I'm guessing 3ish but I don't have the aging eye that a lot of yall do here, for a 12 acre spot surrounded by idiots who gun hunt year round I'm hoping he makes it another year, but man for a east TN mountain deer hes a fatty. Any thanks for looking.

No expert, but I'd guess 2 1/2 years old. I think the camera angle emphasizes the gut. He'll eat good.

Yes he would I'm torn because i would like to see him grow but the the year round gun hunting tart tarts I don't think he will make it another year.

Tough to tell age from that angle, hoping for 2 but could be 3, either way, it doesn't matter what anyone else does. If you want him to grow another year than don't shoot. You can't control anyone else, only your attitude and effort.

Roger that! As long as I can go to my grave knowing I did my best to be honest, fair and trying to be a good follower I'll be good!

he's young. If he's 2 I'd be surprised. Only you know what you need to do, if you want to shoot...shoot. If you want to let him go. . .then pass. I understand the worry about gun season and neighboring hunters though too. Good luck.

Thanks for the help guys I appreciate it. I am going to pass on him and pray he makes it another year.
