Help Me Legalize Semiauto Rifle Big Game Hunting In Pennsylvania

When shooting more than one animal, there’s a noticeable advantage. I’ve taken my BAR .270 more than a few times when doe hunting. Carried it the other day hog hunting. Almost got a second hog.
my best has been 2 deer in a matter of seconds. They came over the hill right behind each other, and I took them both down. They slid into the woodline 20 yards away and were piled up on top of each other. I've had times where there's a chance at 3, but couldn't connect with all 3.

So using this same anti logic, why do we have compound bows now? Why do we have crossbows now? Rangefinders, Kestrels and dial up optics so you can shoot into next zip code?

We all can find something we disagree with but it's a choice not a requirement. Change the station if you don't like the program.

I can understand the desire to not want to advocate for it. I'd be against it if it were currently illegal in my home state (its not) and I'd be against making them illegal now when they've always been legal here. Might not make perfect sense but it's how I feel about it.

Pa did a great study on bullet " ricochets & terminal range" Senator Lisa Boscola pushed and was instrumental because growing up she remembered her dad saying a safe shot is a safe shot regardless if its an arrow or a slow big bullet or a small fast bullet. Well we have to many hunters afield per/sq/mile and way to many areas with Houses and rounds splitting the woodlots up. I am afraid extra bullets will fly if semi auto rifles are used and that will increase the number of unsafe shots.

The study proved exactly opposite of your statement. I used this study for support of the straight wall rifle regulation in Michigan as the author of the straight wall regulation. The 12ga shotgun with sabot was proven to be the worse firearm for downrange safety. The semi automatic shotgun is LEGAL in PA.

Yes you are correct I never finished my point due to a thing called work. Yes the slugs have a tendency to bounce along. Semi shotguns are NOT legal statewide for deer hunting.
