Hello from S. Iowa

Hi, my name is Adam and I live in S. Iowa. I hunt deer bow,shot gun,and muzzleloader loader. I also chase upland birds and do some fishing. This forum has sparked a big interest of big game hunting out west. So hopefully within the next two years I will be able to chase elk in the mountains. I'm full of questions and always wanting to learn and improve! Glad to be part of the forum.

Welcome aboard! Stick around and do a lot of reading of old threads. Tons of info here from incredibly knowledgeable folks. I was in your shoes 4-5 years ago. After a lifetime of one of the simplest deer tag systems for us residents in the country, the western tags were quite confusing to learn and I still am learning a lot. Pick a state and learn one at a time. If antelope interest you at all or if WY does for other species get a preference point for each species before May 31 so you have them for use in the future.
