Headlamp

I'm looking for a headlamp with a good red light to navigate in the early morning hours. I recently bought a Black Diamond Revolt. I took it turkey hunting the other day, and I could barely see the ground right in front of me with the red light on high. Any suggestions?

I have a Tikka w/green&red lenses that works for me. I don't like the switch.
I use a Cabellas Outfitter model for seeing good in the dark & camp/reading.

I really like the black diamond spot. Although the red LED isn't any brighter than any other headlamp I have tried.

I've got a black diamond storm that I really like. The red led is adequate but no more than. If you need somethinh with some juice you may need some sort of lense system instead of a led.
