Does anyone have high top hard-toed hiking boots that they really like? Something that you wouldn't be afraid to wear elk hunting?

I've got a client that insists I wear all PPE while on their property, including hard hat, safety glasses and hard-toes, even if I'm walking across a sage flat counting grouse poop. I currently wear the Lowa Hunter GTX, and would like to find something comparable.

What do you think of this hard hat?:D

Steel toes? I used to have to wear them for work every day (when I was working for oilfield companies). Everyone liked the redwings so I ended up getting a pair. They are a good comfortable boot and I took them hunting a few times. Not on purpose because I usually hunt out of tennis shoes ;) and they worked just fine.

A lot of guys from Oklahoma have the camo hard hats..........:D

Oak, can't go wrong with redwing boots. not sure how comfortable they would be for hunting, but can spend 8-10 hours a day working in them. get an extra size or so. you will need extra socks for the winter time. they do get cold. very cold. and unless they have changes, they have the lifetime warranty on them.

Oak, I'll send ya a Stetson shape with a Dallas Cowboy logo.

Hahahaha Ken I worked with a guy two summers ago from Texas that had that exact hat. BP tried to kick him off the job site but the hat meet the requirements of OSHA.

Oak,
I think the 2nd link's boot looks a little more comfortable. But this is a biased opinion. I like Red Wings. I've never seen the composite toe, being a electrician and all you would think I would of known hahahahahahaha

nhy, you have any hats with logos of good teams?

Wyo, I was flipping through EHJ at the bookstore the other day and saw a familiar face. ;)
