Colt first generation 38 WCF...

I really wanted a Colt New Frontier 22 shortly after getting out of high school but I “settled” for a SS Ruger Single-Six. I had a lot of fun with that revolver but I ended up trading it for something after a couple of years. Every once in a while, I have gotten the urge to look for a Colt. Recently, I have seen photos of a few in some threads, and that was all it took for me to get serious about finding one.

The quandary I am now having with the one that showed up at my FFL is, do I shoot it or not? I don’t see any signs of it being fired. Since I am not a collector, I think I will be shooting it.

A buddy of mine has an identical New Frontier in .22 mag, and we shot a lot of prairie dogs, jackrabbits, and coyotes with that thing. It was made to be shot…

Picked this up last weekend. Looks like very few rounds through it, made in 2018. Supposedly no more New Frontier frames left, but who knows? Definitely will shoot it. .45 LC.

It is Wednesday, and I just picked these up on my way to work tonight. A couple of single-sixes worked over by Bowen in 22lr and 32H&R.

Will get some better pictures in natural light next week.

Got out this Wednesday morning and shot these Bowens. Happy to say they are great shooters. Well regulated sights and tight groups. Even did a little .38-55 shooting as it seemed to fit.

Got super lucky on Saturday at a RMEF banquet and won this beauty.
I should probably buy some lottery tickets because this kind of thing never happens to me.

I have never had much interest in a Python but I have drooled over a few Anacondas.

I had an anaconda nicest feeling pistol in the store. Worst accuracy of any I’ve ever shot. Wasn’t a very expensive one and doubled my money in two years.

Not sure why and it kicked terrible to my dads S&W 44 and 460.
