Has anybody worn them and formed an opinion? In particular, the Trapper Top GTX? Also, is there another USA dealer besides Lathrop and Sons?

Thanks. I have some time to think about it now, as I finally found my Lowas available and ordered a pair today. They've been sold out everywhere for quite a while.

I've heard nothing but good things about them, but those reports are only a few. However, I had nothing but great dealings with Lathrop and Sons, but did go with Kenetrek for the last set of boots due to price.

Which Kenetreks?

Mountain Extreme Non-Insulated. I was skeptical at first, but after wearing them for the past year am starting to like the 10" height.

I almost ordered a pair of those...maybe next time. I really like the 10" top, as it protects the ankles and lower legs from stobs, logs, rocks, etc.
