H&r 280

I owned one once.Only was accurate with a cold barrel. After the second shot had to put it away for 10 minutes to get good and cold or it would shoot all over a 6 inch bull.
Today there are better shooting rifles for around the same price.Savage and Ruger are two I have had personal experience with that I would purchase over the H&R.Don't know if available in 280 though.

Some swear by them, but others swear at them. I have found them to be ok in accuracy but reliable. I think they still make a 280 barrel. If not they stil have a barrel program.
