Gunbroker and bank account information

I was going to sell some firearms on gunbroker, but they want my bank account
That does not make sense to me as a potential seller.

Also for the state taxes on the sale. GB will collect their fees and any applicable sales taxes.

I watched Ordance Lab on YouTube yesterday about fireworks and they had a sponsor that does the GB thing but without some of the fees. Don’t know anything about them but the ordnance lab guys are legit and it’s worth looking into.

Seem's to me if I don't trust them with my bank account number I'm not gonna give them a credit card number!

I sold 5 guns on GB. I gave them my bank account so they could deposit 0.02 cents into it to see if I was legit. They removed the 0.02 cents later to verify I was legit.
They asked for my CC info, which is where they took their fees out of the guns sold. One person was a non-paying bidder, and GB took their fees, and I never got them back. They do not have a direct email nor direct phone number. All communication is by robot, so I stopped using them.

Sell local if you can. It will save you some fees, and guns sell super easy here, or on other classified adds.
