Greater Sage Grouse Counts Tick Up Westwide

I wonder if this increase has anything to do with the number of grasshoppers in the past few years?

They are on cyclic pattern. Managers in WY are thinking we may be coming back up from the bottom. The article I linked says it was weather conditions that got us the better count. It still seems like SWMT is in a down state though. I think we'll skip our usual trips there and focus on EMT for September.
