Get away? To where- the feed trough? And you could just drive around to find it again- it's not like it's going to jump the 10ft fences around the place.
Way to use a 1,000 yard gun for a place you can't see more than 150, on an elk that would probably run up to you for treats if it saw you.

At least the animal in the first shot isn't moving (like the second shot) and has a back drop (unlike the 3rd shot). Anyone else think in that second shot they were actually aiming at that lead cow? What's the lead on a walking cow at 1000+ yards?

I think that 1000 yard plus cow walking is shot in the head.

Got curious so i put it in, almost 9 moa with a high bc 30 cal going fast. If shes walking 3 mph instead of 4 - over 2 moa in error aka almost 2' at 1000 yards.
