Great Falls Montana access?

Hey everybody , I'm considering relocating from Anaconda to Greatfalls . Obviously the terrain and access for camping , four wheeling and hunting is much different . Does anyone have Input on what is available In the area ? Of course no honey holes but general opportunities. Thanks in advance !!

There's plenty. Block management, the little belts and Freezeout are a good start.

Plenty of access all around Great Falls. You can do plenty of four wheeling in the Little Belts, plenty of camping in just about every direction.

Not too far from the Bob Marshall to the west. A lot of the hunting districts on the Front are either sex elk but there is also quite the patchwork of public and state lands to navigate unless you head into the mountains. OnXMaps is a key tool for hunting over there. I've never hunted birds over there but always remember seeing pheasants along the Hwy 200 between Rogers Pass and Great Falls.

I see what you mean patchwork . You would think there is plenty of deer with all the fields. The thought of pheasants is appealing too. Hopefully the accessible areas don't look like a pumpkin patch with hunter Orange.
