Wood ducks are the most beautiful ducks in my opinion. Also the tastiest which is why I have such a hard time taking them to the taxidermist. Beautiful mount man look like they just came off the pond. Congrats

If you can take then the same day you shoot them or soon after, the taxidermist can possibly get the breast meat out for you. My mom does this for folks bringing ducks all the time. Wouldn't hurt to ask.
