Daughter's family had an appointment yesterday afternoon for Christmas pics. I was joking with our SIL about posing on Santa's lap. He texted me this.

Freeing up some safe spots lately. SIL leaving today for a quail hunt trip in NM & 11/24 was his birthday.... and the Citori needed a new home.

Seems like you guys have the kind of relationship most SIL/FIL’s only wish they had. That’s pretty neat, and no doubt speaks to the quality of you both. I’m jealous.

Should have sold that Citori to me and then let your SIL buy what he wanted with the proceeds.. That would have the considerate thing to do?

I have a Citori just like that one, bought mine new in 1979-1982. It has always been my favorite shotgun.

Looks like he was/is a steer wrestler. Bet he can pack a quarter of elk out of the steep thick stuff. Good guy to have around.
